So if we don't understand what is happening, do we just keep checking back and it will become crystal clear?

So if we don't understand what is happening, do we just keep checking back and it will become crystal clear? You got it, justflyinging ~ we'll be starting the carnival about 6 pm (central time) ~ and once we get going, it should be fairly clear what's going on. If you're still a bit confused, we'll have plenty of helpers here who will be happy to answer any questions.

Vyckie, I was just curious where you are going to church?

Vyckie, I was just curious where you are going to church? Me too. Somehow I didn't picture you entering church buildings these days...? (I really, really, hope this comes across as a simple question without any judgmental-presupposition-radar attached to it on my end)

I was just getting some more packing done ~ waiting on the dryer to finish up ~ and thought to myself, "Hey, since they're sending a car to pick me up, I won't have to carry this stuff ~ so I can pack it as full as I want and not worry about how heavy it is ~ sweet!" And then my next thought ~ I wonder if I'm expected to tip these guys? And if so, how much? I've never done this sort of thing before! Any suggestions?

Better check the airline restrictions. They often have weight limits for baggage.

Vyckie, don't worry about your hair or anything. You look beautiful. You're supposed to be yourself, so do that!!

Vyckie, I think you look gorgeous and you obviously don't NEED hairspray, your hair looks great! Good luck with everything - and you're right, no need to be perfect anymore. That's what real life is all about. I'm so excited you have the opportunity to be on this show, so many people will be made aware of the patriarchy "movement" and that is so desperately needed. I have my DVR set up to record, just in case "something" happens and I miss any part of the show. You go girl!

That interview was great! By the way, what kind of QFer is Rachel Scott? Doesn't homeschool, says God is a feminist... Wow, they had to get the most mainstream face of QF out there? By the way, Vyckie, I was so mad when she looked snidely over and you and said something about how marital success in QF "depends on the situation." All the while going, "We're great! I love this! My husband and I have an equal relationship. Submission is totally misunderstood. It only looks like abuse from the *outside* to people who just don't get it." Argh... Good for you and Kathryn for getting a word in though. It seemed hard to do.

KM if you read her website you will see that she is full of BS and the only mainstreaming going on was what she said for the camera. www.rachelscottsblog.com/
The enemy is also preparing his army for battle. Believers do not need to fear the army of the enemy but we do need to be aware that they exist. On the other side there are children being born who already desire to promote the enemy’s agenda. Some are chosen in the womb through demonic rituals or other forms of evil. Some are birthed into this world and taught to hate. The only hope these children have is to find Christ, but until they do they will be increasingly susceptible to the deeds and plans of the enemy.* * * We are presently living in the last generations before Christ returns. The children that we are birthing right now are the beginnings of this end-time army of Mighty Warriors who will worship the Lord and prepare the way for His return. “ * * * Several generations fell into Babylonian thinking (Babylon in scripture usually refers to human thinking and ideals) and the traditional family of: mother/father, a loving marriage that produces loving children, fell apart in both society and in churches. People left God's "ideal" and what resulted were 70+ years of pain and suffering for families.
WAS IT SIMPLY "COINCIDENCE" THAT NEARLY 70 YEARS AFTER THESE RULINGS AMERICA EXPERIENCED A "WAKE-UP" CALL IN THE EVENTS OF 9/11/01?

Joy should have done her homework (or her assistants) and had some juicy quotes to challenge Rachel with!
Just like those FLDS women, they of course are going to put the best foot forward, I remember doing so in my own Hare Krishna days.
I think when going on any show with these people, come with a few cards of direct quotes with page number and everything, to challenge them with!

Makes you wonder, doesn't it, what the 'hidden agenda' is, of the talk shows where they pick a real dizz who gets to do almost all the talking, and the one with brains keeps getting interrupted. Reminds me of when I used to go into an Assembly of God church and if you said something to someone who just didn't want to hear it, they would put their hands over their ears and begin to speak 'in tongues'? loudly, as if to drown out what you were saying...lalalalalalalalala... OK...where is our barfing smiley? At any rate, Vyckie, I am so proud of my girl! Just wish you would have had a chance to really get into the meat of your story!

Wow! Vyckie just called on her cell phone, from La Guardia Airport...she actually thought she was going to have a couple of minutes to go online HA! and then, as she was discussing that very thing, I could hear the loud speaker announcing the boarding of her plane... So...we said a hasty "Love ya...bye for now..." and she is off, headed for home! Should arrive in Sioux City about 2 pm? ;D ;D
