I'm recommending to everyone to simply ignore Sirius or the board will end up being nothing more than Sirius's serial masturbation blog. If you find Sirius Baiting too tempting we could try the troll recipe pioneered at Dkos--post your favorite recipe whenever you get the urge to respond.
By all that's good, please!!!! I admit I initially enjoyed looking in on this for awhile, but Sirius is like one of those really annoying dogs that just can't figure out when you are done playing fetch with him. He keeps dropping the slimy, slobbered tennis ball in your lap while you're trying to visit with friends, read, or grade papers, etc. AND it's interesting that a lot of dog trainers call that insistence on playing on HIS schedule a form of dominance that owner can address. Ignoring him until he takes his slobbery ball somewhere else is a good idea.
I also agree with the poster who called Sirius determined, serious, and well-read, but not really all that intelligent. His ability to analyze an audience and determine the best approach to reach them is nonexistent. His logic, as others have said, is convuluted and shabby, and his ability to express his ideas is very poor. In contrast, other people, like Vyckie, can discuss complex ideas in a clear and comprehensible way without oversimplifying. As a teacher of college-composition, I am not impressed by Sirius's communication skills. He's really not worth our time or effort.
