Hello all:
This website and forum has given me a name for the social phenomena I've witnessed within fundamentalist/evangelical Christianity for years: (Christian Patriarchy / Quiverfull)
I've had friends that "disappeared" into this lifestyle. And through it, I've seen them transformed by a peculiar form of animus towards society in general. Until now, I've never had a name for it.
Thank you Vyckie for sharing your experience and insights. It helps me understand my own experiences of interacting with these people, -including the stinging wounds of loved ones.
