Hi! I'm Jenn. I'm a Christian woman, who while fairly conservative and the mother of 5 children, thinks the Quiver Full movement is off track.
My husband and I believe that a man should be the leader of his home, and that this works best when there is MUTUAL submission between husband and wife. I'm a college graduate, and while I'm a home maker now, during my marriage my husband and I have traded back and forth a few times who was employed, and who was the stay-at-home parent, and sometimes both of us have been employed. My husband owns his own successful business--that I fought against for at least 6 months, and he did not move forward with starting it until he had my grudging acceptance--LOL.
Lately my husband has supported me pursuing my calling (helping women to have access to care in birth that is respectful of them, not subordinating them to their care providers, or treating them as "womb pods" and subordinate to the baby), which means that I'm the un-paid president of a non-profit group, and I'll be furthering my education starting this fall.
