CDD is so much more than just spanking.Well, okay then... Don't think I have the stomach for the links.

I looked at the link. Crazy sh*t indeed. I wanted to look at their forum but it's probably a very bad idea. I must resist...

Stampinmama, your story is riveting. It's so awful that this kind of thing is still going on. Kudos to you and your loved ones for getting out!
Your link to that CDD website shocked me. I guess in some ways I'm kind of innocent. I had no idea anything that sick was out there.

Erika ~ I just finally got around to reading your intro (sorry, but the trip to Minneapolis put me behind on everything) ~ and all I can say is, "Wow!" What an amazing story.
I'd sure be interested to know how you managed to hang on to any sort of faith at all after going through a mess like that. And what about your husband ~ how's the relationship with his family now?
Isn't it interesting the differences between your sister and yourself ~ it's always fascinating to me to realize that two girls can grow up in the same family, same circumstances, and yet, react so differently to all of it. That happened with Sandy and me too.
Thanks for sharing. I'm really grateful for your input here on the forums.

Wow, what an incredible journey!
I'm glad you've been able to remain true to your core beliefs in the face of such persecution..
