Journey I always relate so much to what your story. I too had to give away many things because my ex decided it was what God wanted. OR he would just give things away, including my personal things and the kids things, to people in order to impress them. He gave away a big television and replaced it with a tiny television so we didn't watch too much tv, or so he told people. Of course this didn't stop him at any point from watching anything.
Reading your story it is clear that the car was all about controlling you, limiting your free agency so anywhere you went was in "his" car.

I am sad over this one, too. Looking forward to reading the rest, and hope it has a happy ending.

It makes me so sad to hear what you went through. He was so manipulative.

I'm new and don't know all the rules, but I really want to cuss right now.
Lots of hugs Journey.

I'm not the board owner, but in general some cussing is totally OK. Excessive cussing seems to scare some folks off, though. What is really not allowed is personal attacks, and preaching without listening.

Aww, Journey. Your posts have been very moving and disturbing. It makes me so sad that you had to endure such awfulness. I hope your story ends with, "and then I dumped the boob-grabbing psycho."
