Hello.
I found this by way of the Salon, which had been linked from the LiveJournal group Dark Christian.
My husband and I went to a church that was slowly getting into the Quiverfull movement. Homeschool, all the babies you could make, headcoverings, all of that. They didn't approve of me getting an education, either. I was raised Methodist and saucy, so I never fit in.
We ended up leaving, but it left its mark. We have four kids, ages 17, 14, 11 and 9.
These days I drive a semi and write spicy romance novels. He teaches school. Two of my little "God Warriors" have been called by the Goddess and I'm studying for the ministry in our local pagan church.
I've been enjoying the articles and seeing a great deal of myself in them.

Hello. I was raised Methodist and saucy, so I never fit in. I can identify with that. I really tried, but I just couldn't fit in either. Welcome to the boards. Jennie
