Hello Ladies! I’m SargassoSea – I am in my mid-40s, have a fantastic partner of 15 years and one daughter age 9 who began complete Unschooling about a year ago. I am a Radical Feminist who often times sounds like a 16 year old surfer dude – hey, it’s just the way I roll I have no religion, although my maternal Grandmother was a Science practitioner and my mother was professionally involved with the Society of Friends. I hold that the Universe, and all things therein, is made up of endless energy – energy does not die, it changes form. In other words, there is no beginning or end to us, we simply change. So today I may be ‘Sea the Unschoolin’ RadFem Mom, but tomorrow – universe forbid - my energy could be divided amongst the stars, or oceans, or wildflowers, or WMD or all of the above. I have faith that by purposefully directing my personal energy toward the good/right that I avoid said energy being redirected toward the bad/wrong (WMD, yo!). Props to Vykie and Laura for being right-on women and for starting this forum for the benefit of an obviously diverse, smart, and thoughtful group. PS – Just wanted to say I was directed to NLQ by a comment/link left by Vyckie (I guess) over at Twisty Faster’s place, IBTP.

Vyckie - Likewise, I'm sure and I'd start the conversation with food! I love talking about food, especially when it involves feeding a lot of people. Another PS - I'm assuming you check in over Women's Space, yes? I totally *heart* Heart - what a steady soul...

Nice, don't think I've ever heard the reincarnate-my-energy as WMD before! But it's certainly a possibility, as people do generally have low-level radioactivity in them anyway!

What a fun introduction! Welcome, SargassoSea! I can't imagine you will end up as part of a WMD. Who or what is Twisty Faster? I look forward to reading much, much more.
