Here's the place to "donate" prizes to be given away to NLQ Carnival Days winners. Do you have something of value to contribute? It doesn't have to be anything expensive or fancy ~ donations of time and talent would be awesome ~ do you do graphic design, copy editing, etc? Erika has already offered a set of 10 handmade holiday cards and a pair of handmade earrings. Sea has a must-read book she's willing to part with. I'm trying to think of what I have plenty to spare around here ~ besides kids ~ I doubt they'd appreciate me offering their services for housecleaning and yard work, LOL Oh, I know ~ I have some awesome premium yarn ~ enough for a baby blanket or scarf ~ I'll start crocheting right away ... Anyone else? It would be helpful to have a "Grand Prize" for the No-Longer-Eating-Crappy-Pizza Club challenge. Anyone who donates ~ either as a monthly sponsor or one-time contribution ~ will be eligible for a drawing. Also ~ what do you all think about setting a specific goal (so many new NLECP Club members or a certain dollar amount) and if we meet the goal during the NLQ Carnival Days ~ something really big and totally awesome will happen. Any suggestions for what might be an appropriate reward? Well ~ I've done my brain storming for the morning. Will leave it for all the brilliant and creative NLQ forum members to think on now ...

I'm also offering a FREE one-year subscription to "Family Fun" Magazine (which is put our by Disney - oooooh, how evil - HAHA!). We get this magazine and LOVE it! I enjoy it just as much as my kids do. There's great recipes for both kids and adults, crafts for little ones and older ones (I love them for myself, too) and fantastic articles for all walks of life. familyfun.go.com/magazine/

In which Sea offers an original, signed watercolor entitled Las Rosas de la Sacerdotista (The Priestess' Roses) by an internationally known woman artist to the first 'entity' to donate a lump sum of $1,500.00

Woo hoo! ;D Vyckie, One more way, along with what you've got, to help market NLQ is to invite other bloggers to join in on their own blogs---ie, everyone who wants to participate, put a post up (that has something to do with the general NLQ theme) on their blog on, say, Nov. 3rd (or whatever day you want to pick) and at the end of their post, link back to NLQ in support of the carnival. Back at NLQ, you can compile a list of all those who participated, including putting up the links to their individual posts, and then do a random drawing out of the participants names for a prize to be announced the next day. Molly ~ this is a super awesome idea! I really hope that we can do this. We're going to need a volunteer to contact other blogs. If I come up with a general email script, is there someone here who would be willing to handle this little project? I'd do it myself, but ~ I AM GOING TO N.Y.C. TO DO AN INTERVIEW FOR THE JOY BEHAR SHOW!!!! Okay ~ I have to confess that I am still so sheltered from popular culture ~ I had to do a Google search to find out who Joy Behar is. Since the interview is scheduled for Nov. 3, I'll be doing the NLQ Carnival Days from New York ~ now won't that be interesting?! This carnival is going to be a total blast ~ I promise.

If you raise a certain amount of money, you could tell us about Angel's time at the Campbell's as a reward. I'm very interested and so are a lot of people it seems. LOL.

I will look through my books; I'm sure I have something I can donate. I, too, will need a snail mail address in order to do so.
