Wow Vyckie how interesting that you were launched out of your belief system by a verse in Ecclesiastes. When I finally left my abusive husband I felt that God had delivered me as he had delivered the Hebrews from the Egyptians.. it was a very clear picture of deliverance by God. This did NOT go down well when I told other Christians about it, LOLOL.. you are never supposed to be delivered from your husband.
Anyway I ended up "delivered" from a whole lot of other stuff as well.

'It was shortly after this revelation that I made the decision to take the necessary action to regain my health and to ensure that my children and I would truly be “blessed”'
This was the same reason we stopped having children. After two problems pregnancies and post-partum depression I knew I couldn't do it anymore. I needed to recover to be there and enjoy the 4 young children I had.
That's also the reason why my older two are in public school instead of the homeschooling "ideal" I had previously clung to.
I can't keep having babies, raise "godly arrows," homeschool, cook and clean AND keep my sanity intact.

LOL I just remembered I had actually prayed to be delivered using one of the Psalms that calls out to be delivered and that I actually told some people this and how God had answered my prayers because I was free of my husband.

It's really sad that when someone says leaving an expression of Christianity makes them feel free, the question is always what's wrong with the person leaving, rather than an examination of what kind of Christianity it is that burdens people so.
Jesus said his yoke was easy and his burden was light. Seems to me that if it's heavy and hard, it's someone else who is putting that yoke on you. . .
