hi, i've been reading the blog since i read the article in "salon". i just find the whole QF lifestyle fascinating. the cult mentality is especially interesting to me....i think most religions are founded in fear, guilt, and superstition and the QF movement is a prime example, IMO.

not sure how much i'll contribute...but, i'll be sure to be an avid and extreme lurker!

Hi Sukimom, and welcome!

I think a lot of older, established religions were started that way or contained those elements. I think some of the newer ones have been created to counter those old ways.
